So apparently I went on vacation for a week and during my break from the internet Panic broke up into duo's and Ryan Ross got his picture taken doing the hard drugs? WTH?

Ironically I've been kind of waiting for the break-up for a while, pretty much since the last album so that didn't come as so much of a surprise as the drugs and the cheating (from a while back).

Ryan Ross you're making it very hard to be a fan right now and since you're my favorite where does this leave me... does this mean that everything I write from here on out will be AU? Of course pretty much most of it is any way. I mean I made Ryan psychic, an angel, a girl, that's pretty much as far from canon as you can get. Does this make the Ryan that I write an OC or OOC? So frustrating, it makes me want to give up bandom (or at least the Panic portion of it) and write other things.

I'm using the Ryan icon, because it might be the last time I can.

Maybe there can be In Character fic where Ryan is not very nice or very good at taking care of himself? He is just..all about #1, enjoying life, hanging out with as many pretty girls as he can, sleeping with as many people as he can, writing some music, doing some drugs, playing his 20+ guitars.... his friends sort of learned that they can't rely on him and that sometimes he shows up at their door because he lost his keys / didn't pay his bills / needs company.. and other times he ignores them because he doesn't want to be around people who know him well and believe he is capable of more....

Awww, I would be sad if you gave up on writing Panic.
The breakup has been really tough on me as well and don't even get me started on the drug picture but I think we shouldn't let them ruin fandom, too! I think we should at least get to still enjoy them in fic after they made it quite a bit harder to enjoy them in RL. *nods*

Hi, kind of a lurker, but I love your constants universe. I would hate to see you stop writing panic. And the pictures didn't actually show him doing drugs, he was just in a picture with drugs in it. We all know he smokes pot and drinks. Do I think he does coke? No. Do I think he has probably tried it? Yes. Do I think he was an idiot for posing for a picture when there was coke on the table? Hell, yes. However, he didn't take the picture, nor did he post it online. I think now that he and Jon are focusing a lot on getting their album done, things with him will calm down.
