laniew1I am a spoiler whore... yes I freely admit it. I can't watch the shows prior to reading the spoilers and this became especially bad last season when everything was so dark. Back then it was me trying to see some semblence of light, it didn't come but...
That said the new spoilers disturb me. Why you might ask, if you even care...
The spoiler most disturbing to me... A chip free, souled Spike is going to be all with the killing. Why? I know they're doing to create angst. I know that a lot of speculation says that the BB is manipulating him into doing this. I've even heard that it *is* the BB morphing into Spike (which I doubt but...) This all really sucks and I'm of the firm mind that this is ME's way of sticking it to the B/S shippers that are trying to remain hopeful. Much the same way that they continually stick it to the B/A shippers that are still watching.
Now I'm also hearing from some Spoiler sources that anyone not watching Angel should start watching immediately...or they're going to miss half the story. I'm assuming that means that the writers on Angel, and possibly the actors as well are going to admit that the two shows are still joined to some degree.
But even that comment is not enough to make me start watching Angel again.
I'll continue to read the transcripts thank you very much. I'm trying, really trying to shield myself from as much of C/A-ness of the show as possible. Of course I don't think even Angel saying that he still loved Buffy would make me tune in at this point.
I'm not a C/A'er. I'll never be one. But I do ship B/S. How strange is that?
I've said it before I'm a Buffy shipper.
I ship Buffy with almost anyone. B/A, B/S, B/O, B/Wesley, B/R, B/Graham, B/A/S, B/R/A, B/R/Sa.
But I'll also never ship Buffy with Giles (who I consider her *father*), and the only way I'll ship her with Xander is if its included within the confines of another relationship. I'm reading a really terrific threesome fic that's B/S/X right now called The Challenge by jypzrose.
I only ship Angel with Buffy. And I prefer my B/S fics without his presence. I will put down fics that have him paired with anyone, I made it almost to the end of a fantastic B/S fic when all of a sudden, out of the blue the secondary pairing turned out to be A/Willow. I never did find out how it ended.
Anyway... thats my rant.
