So I finally got to see Wednesday’s The OC.

Vague mumblings… and dammit I don’t need another fandom to write in.




Ryan/Marissa:

So I read the slash, actually in this fandom I read pretty much only slash. But I was willing though, because I am aware that the show and the fanfic are two different universes and can separate them in my mind, to try and root for this pairing. Well I can’t. Because I can’t stand Marissa. Although I might be able to read a good Summer/Seth story, maybe a Seth/Anna. And now I’m getting off topic. I love Ryan, I adore Ryan and want to hug and cuddle and pet him. He’s what I want for Christmas this year. I have this thing about brooding, monosyllabic bad boys. They’re my weakness. But I hate Marissa with the fiery passion of a thousand suns. I honestly didn’t think I could hate her anymore… and then I saw Wed’s episode and well I was wrong. I tried to like her, I really did… I just… can’t. I don’t know what it is about her that rubs me the wrong way. But whatever it is I think I’m going to be forced to fast-forward through any scenes with them together, or making out or whatever despite my mad Ryan love because I don’t like that girl.

Seth/Anna/Summer:

This is one threesome that I could so get behind, and if Ryan wanted to jump into it and make it a foursome leaving Marissa far behind to wallow in her own whatever then all the better.

And no, that’s one bunny I’m not picking up on. Just no. Although I’ll… No…

I honestly like both girls, which surprised me at first because Anna’s voice annoyed me a little the first time she spoke during the summer episodes and I thought Summer wasn’t near good enough for Seth until just recently.

I reserve the right to change my mind.

And Anna being from Pittsburgh, I’d forgotten all about that… *rubs hands together gleefully* I have a QaF/The OC (futurefic) that I’m currently working on and that information will just come in mighty handy.

The family in the kitchen scenes at the beginning were just wonderful. And funny.

Jimmy/Rachel:

I’m withholding judgment until they actually show them together a bit more.
