Thoughts from a weekend of writing...

I should preface this with: I love and adore Michael Weatherly (not as much as I love Jensen Ackles but fairly close) but it seems I might have some latent dislike for Logan (Dark Angel) that I was unaware of... at least in fic form. I'm working on Biological Imperative and I've come to the grim realization that I'm going to have to put a warning on it to tell Logan-lovers to stay away.
2. Martin is still talking to me though he's taking his sweet time.
3. I should probably be scared at how easily the Jude/Obi-Wan is coming together. I should also be worried that we are inching closer and closer to Jude/Obi-Wan/Hayden with every word I write.
4. Healer!Obi-Wan has stalled. I'm not sure why. I know exactly what I want to say but I just can't seem to get it to come out on paper and sound right.
5. That short Lost story that I wanted to write, you know the prequel to Other People's Toys? Well it seems that it will be coming after I write the long, plotty, fairly angst-ridden *Jack crashed with the Tailies* fic.
6. I have a sudden desire to write Jack/Boone again. I just can't figure out how I want to handle it.
7. Dean is annoyed with me, which is okay because I'm not writing him yet so he's not messing up my Supernatural/Dark Angel cross-over. I haven't figured out who he's going to be paired with in the story, it seems to be filled with het pairings (Sam/Jess, Max/Alec), maybe Zack's human donor could still be alive???
I've got a migraine that I've had for two days, I'm ready for it to go away now.

Date: 2005-12-06 08:36 pm (UTC)Heh. The one thing that kind of annoys me in a lot of M/A fic is how very poorly Logan is written. I mean, yes, obstacle to the pairing and all, but he wasn't the psycho/uber-controlling/idiotic douche as he's often portrayed.
I dislike him, too, but it's on some fundamental grounds: he doesn't accept Max as a transgenic, not really. And that kills the relationship, making them incompatible.
Hmm, I had a point, but I think I lost it there. I guess it comes down to Logan = annoying, Alec = pretty. Which is pretty standard for me, actually. ;)
