I've been plagiarized. Someone copied, word for word the first part of my Ringer series (Siobhan, Version 3.0) up on Fanfiction.net and is calling it their own.

Right now I've sent the 'author' an e-mail in the hopes that she'll remove the story immediately, but I've still got this sick feeling in my stomach and if she copied my story who else is going to find themselves in the same position.

Looking at her profile (CherryRose11) she doesn't write in fandoms that I'm familiar with, they include How to Train Your Dragon, Rio, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Adventureland, Lake House, Private Practice, Tourist, 2010, The Beautiful Life, Monte Carlo, 2011, Tron, Sonic the Hedgehog, Cutting Edge, Disney, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Lion King, Scream, Covenant, Harper's Island, Polar Express, V, 2009, Tangled, Dolphin Tale, Hugo, Chronicle, Degrassi.

That's happened to me too. I started posting all my stories on FF.net after that so no one could steal and post there - everything's dated. I also post on LJ now too (all my stuff used to just be on my website).

I hope stop_plagiarism gets her and gets her good.

what's wrong with someone that they think it's okay to do that? because, hello, IT'S SO OBVIOUSLY NOT OKAY. i'm sorry you're having to deal with it, but it sounds like you've done and/or are doing all that you can.
