The Supernatural edition, as well as some other things.

But first, Supernatural. I think I'm alone on my friends list in my opinion that all Thursday nights episode did was full me with dread about the finale. If any of these three things happen I will most likely cut my ties with Supernatural the TV show, immerse myself only in Fandom and tape Fringe instead. That said, if in the finale the final battle comes down to Lucifer!Sam vs Human!Dean or Lucifer!Sam vs Michael!Adam. I'm done, also if Castiel dies in the finale I'm also done. I also think that we will see God before we see Michael again, solely because as of this last weeks episode I'm firmly of the belief that the Michael bone was thrown out there strictly to placate the Dean girls that wanted Dean to be important to the story in his own right, instead of important only because of this connection by blood to Sam.

I'm excited as all hell about The Young Veins album, everything I've heard just makes me more excited and I've already got it on pre-order. I'm sort of meh about the P!ATD album at this right now though. Part of this is you can post pretty pictures, and everyone from the band down to Pete can tweat(?) about how excited they are, but since my favorite part of Panic is now in TYV I need something else to motivate me to buy the album. From the posts on my friends list I'm pretty much in the minority on this fact.

I really, really want a long, plotty, happy Ryan/Brendon fic. But it seems like everyone has either jumped ship to other pairings (Spencer/Brendon) or other bands (too many to name). At this point I think I would settle for a good fic that doesn't completely vilify Ryan. That seems a bit much to ask for if evidenced by everything I see being posted.

Thinking of doing a timestamp meme... haven't decided for sure yet but if there's anything you're just dying to know about any of my fics (see the Main Fic posting, helpfully updated this morning just for this reason) comment away.

My birthday is Monday! I'm working that day, and the best friend and I decided that she would take me to see Iron Man 2 on Tuesday ($1 popcorn is hard to pass up).

Book Sale Today! Should probably go figure out what I'm looking for, last time I just wandered the aisles waiting for something to jump off the shelves into my arms (that doesn't happen by the way).

You are not the only one feeling dread over the SPN season finale. One one hand I'm like they'd never kill Castiel. He's so popular, they'd be stupid to kill him. Then on the other hand, a panicked, cynical part of me is like WHAT IF THEY KILL CASTIEL?!!? They CAN'T!! He's too damn adorable!!

They better not kill Castiel. >:(

You will probably hear me scream if that happens. I'm trying to force myself to expect that fact, so if it doesn't happen I can rest easy. But I was just beginning to form an attachment to Gabriel and whack. *sigh* Sometimes being in fandom is more stressful then real-life.

And I'll let you know, re Iron Man. I have high hopes though, some people from my comic book store have gone and they all really liked it.

At least a bag full, sometimes a box full. I love Book Sales, my sister and dad jokingly (or not so jokingly) call my spare bedroom my library, because besides the dolls that I collect it's almost floor to ceiling books. It was opening day yesterday so there was an awesome selection. I picked up some books I'd been looking for but couldn't get on Paperback swap, and next Sunday when we go again will be the day I'll pick up some by some authors I've been meaning to try.

One thing that gives me hope is that I heard that if this had been the last season, the writers were originally going to have Castiel die in the place where Gabriel wound up dying. It was changed when they heard there would be a season six. It doesn't seem like they'd do that unless they planned to keep Castiel around. ^_^ Even if he dies in the finale, he could always be brought back. Although, I hope they don't do that either because it would be very repetitive. Just have Cas get hurt so he can lay around looking helpless and adorable and come out of the finale alive. :D

You can never have too much books, I say - though my room is pretty stuffed with them already, I have a hard time finding a place for new ones lately.

What sort of books do you read?

I read pretty much everything. Romance, SciFi/Fantasy, Young Adult. Right now though Katie MacAlister and Lynn Viehl are at the top of my list because a friend basically shoved the first book of series by each into my hands and said 'they've got vampires in them'. I'm a sucker for vampires and werewolves as long as they're not attached in any way to the Twilight series.

My loathing for this series knows no bounds. The sad thing is I have friends, people who normally like the same type of books as I do that absolutely love it. I tried to read the first book and made it maybe three chapters in before I decided I'd never done anything bad enough to have to force myself to read that.

LOL! That's scarily similar to my experience... I actually read the whole first book because my friends said it was SO good (and because of some misplaced hope that it would become better), but after suffering through the worst written sappiness ever I fought tooth and nail not to have to read the other books (and didn't). I just can't stand it.
But do you know what I think is saddest? That many young people think those books are actually well-written (I mean, okay, let them like it, but well-written?? NO.) - those people never read a proper, good book.
